The McCormick Group is the anchor for VPP's Strategic Expertise Group on Human Capital Development. Lyles Carr, the senior vice president of The McCormick Group, has been involved with VPP since before its formation and has worked with us in developing our approach to talent recruitment for our investment partners.

The firm conducts searches for our investment partners to fill their management and key staff needs, manages hiring processes, and provides services related to human capital development at a substantial discount. In addition to taking on these engagements, Lyles Carr has a larger advisory role with VPP. He helps us work with and engage other quality recruitment and staffing firms that would be appropriate matches for VPP investment partners; helps us in developing overall recruitment, development and retention strategies; and advises a small, select group of recruiters and search firms who could be engaged to work with VPP investment partners.

With the support of the McCormick Group, VPP has added three other firms into the Human Capital Development SEB and will continue to add others.
