Eleanor L. Rutland is the COO/CFO at Venture Philanthropy Partners, where she oversees VPP’s operations and also serves as the organization’s assistant secretary and assistant treasurer. Since June 2000 she has also served as vice president of finance for the Morino Group, where she has been responsible for the accounting, management reporting, tax, and various administrative functions for the Morino entities. Prior to joining the Morino Group, she was senior vice president and controller for Riggs Bank N.A., a $7 billion financial institution headquartered in Washington, DC and chief financial officer of Riggs & Co., the investment management, trust, and private banking unit within the organization. Rutland joined Riggs in 1979 and held various positions within finance during her 20 years with the organization. She received a BS in accounting from the University of Maryland.
